I wanted to share with you a little bit about why we produced our summertime checking out program.
For me, it was due to the fact that of my trainees.
For many years of mentor in my private knowing center, parents would bring their kids to me that were behind in reading and spelling.

Sometimes they were simply a bit behind, often they were way behind, and sometimes they were at grade level and just wished to advance quicker.
Often this was due to the fact that the trainees had learning troubles like dyslexia and ADHD. Other times, this was just since the instructors did not teach all of the particular abilities needed to check out.

The program does take some participation from a moms and dad for grades K-2, however for grades 3-8, many kids can do most activities in the program on their own.
