Hi,
I wanted to show you a bit about why we produced our summer season reading program.
For me, it was due to the fact that of my trainees.
For many years of teaching in my private learning center, parents would bring their kids to me that lagged in reading and spelling.

Often they were just a bit behind, in some cases they were method behind, and in some cases they were at grade level and simply wanted to advance faster.
Sometimes this was because the students had learning problems like dyslexia and ADHD. Other times, this was simply since the teachers did not teach all of the specific abilities required to read.
There is a science-proven, step-by-step manner in which all kids can be successful with reading. But, unfortunately, instructors themselves typically are not taught how to teach kids in this way.

The issue was that I was only able to see them for an hour at a time and just two times a week.
How could I get these students' skills up while reading program with spelling and phonics Omaha - NE state not just providing a band-aid option?
Traditional tutors typically just work on research. This does not resolve the root cause of trainees' difficulties and does not actually get their abilities up.
So, I went to the research study and what I gained from my mentors in my early years of teaching.
I found that short activities frequently produce much better results than long labored work.
I found that teaching in an organized and structured method to target each location of reading and spelling worked.

I discovered that brief day-to-day fluency practice assists all trainees check out faster, more accurately, and inherently improves their understanding abilities.
I discovered that using graphic organizers assists students find the main point and details, sequence occasions, and arrange their thoughts to improve their understanding. Trainees could finally comprehend and picture what they check out.
I discovered that most words in English follow 8 specific spelling patterns and when you learn the patterns, spelling ends up being much easier and spelling finally makes sense.
I found that brain-body activities improve neuroplasticity and translate to making learning simpler in all locations.
I discovered that executive function skills were often not taught in school. These abilities are so critical, not simply with planning for school tasks but in life.

I discovered that mentor through our senses (hearing, seeing, and doing) improved their reading and spelling abilities faster. It did not matter if they had learning difficulties or if they were just merely aiming to advance quicker.
I put together a program of these findings into brief 5-20 minute everyday activities that I might do with my students.
It wasn't long prior to my trainees and parents began seeing incredible results. Students that lagged by 1-2 years often got up to grade level in 2-4 months.
Educators started to ask what I was finishing with these kids. Moms and dads wanted to know what the magic sauce was.
I knew I needed to make my program readily available to more students no matter where they live. I required to make the program in a way that parents can do it with their kids on their schedule in your home.
This is why I developed the summer season reading program.
